Learn how SpeedyComic protects local reading data, on-device translations, browsing activity, and waitlist information.
This English version is authoritative.
1. Local-first data storage
Your reading records, settings, study progress, browser cache, tabs, cookies, and local profile choices stay on your device. Removing the app permanently deletes that local data.
2. On-device translation and text recognition
Translation Lens recognizes text and creates translations on your device. Detected comic text and translated overlays are not sent to our servers.
3. Local ad blocking
The app filters ads, pop-ups, and trackers locally. We do not record the sites you visit, your browsing history, or the advertisements filtered.
4. Cookies, cache, and downloads
As a browser, SpeedyComic stores web cache, cookies, and session data on your device. You can clear them in browser settings; downloads are saved locally.
5. No app telemetry
The mobile app does not collect or monitor your search queries, visited URLs, or translations.
6. Waitlist information
If you join the waitlist, the email address you submit is used only to provide launch and early-access updates.
